Laura LaRue

Laura is a French Electronic artist who has seen massive success on the Billboard Charts with her smash hit “San Francisco is My Disco,” and her followup tune “Un, Deux, Trois.” She refers to her fans as “kittens” which I find…strange. But, I dare you to listen to her tunes and not dance.

zach berkman

Zach is a pop/rock musician living in New York city. I found him at the height of Myspace’s days. His music has been featured on P. Diddy’s Starmaker, and his music has been featured on numerous television shows such as Pretty Little Liars and Beauty and the Beast. In addition, he co-wrote Ron Pope’s hit “A Drop in the Ocean.” My favorite song from him is “The Saddest Song.”

Stephen is an alternative rock musician who lives in LA. His song “Give You My Life” caught the ears of radio station Star 98.7 and won his band a spot on its “Rockstar 987” contest. I found Stephen where I find the bulk of great indie acts, Ourstage. He’s a down-to-earth and talented guy. Have a listen and judge for yourself!

April Geesbreght

March 10, 2014 at 8:03 pm (Christian, Lowvee's Music Finds)

April is a singer/songwriter/musician from Nashville. She’s torn up the charts on Ourstage, won numerous music contests, and achieved national radio play. She lists her music as pop/rock, but most of the music she composes has a Christian theme to it. Her voice is small and fragile, but her songs make up for it in spades. Presently she is writing for big names in the industry such as Maggie Chapman, Nelly Joy, and Tim Halperin.

My absolute favorite song from her isĀ My Hope Is In You.

Listen and weep.

amy kuney

A fresh, delightful, and innovative young indie artist, Amy Kuney has been featured on many television shows, most notably One Tree Hill. She has such amazing talent, it’s a wonder that she hasn’t achieved international stardom. Through her delicious melodies, sassy lyrics, and catchy hooks, she leaves you thinking, Damn! This girl really knows how to write a hit song! Presently, my favorite tune of hers is “Kiss Me Like You Mean It.” While she borrows a memorable melody from a popular childhood taunt “Na-na-na Na-na!” she does it so cleverly that you can’t help but grin as you sing along to her rendition. Click the song title to listen, and let me know what you think!
